A very good friend of mine :iconaquarel-river: went to China over her summer break (I think it was a couple years ago...), and for my birthday, she sent me a picture of a cake that she saw on display in a bakery (don't know what store though).

Isn't it epic?! I'd LOVE to be able to make something like this!!

Unfortunately, the most I can manage at this point though, is two layer cakes with stuff in the middle with fresh cream icing...
I just can't figure out how they made the tree...

Wow, what a delightful cake. :heart:

As for the tree, maybe it's with fondant? ^_^

I personally like 2 layer cakes with fresh cream icing very well. :D :D :D probably quite tasty.
